Enter into a landscape of dreams — a place that is familiar, that we can identify, and yet is not that place. We recognize the landscapes, the buildings — but something about it all is altered, uncanny, laden with portents from our psyche.
Elizabeth Anthony’s landscapes of the mind capture this sense of place, both mysterious and familiar, with natural features we recognize and unnatural elements from memory and imagination.
Elizabeth, known as Ebeth, is a second-year MFA student at MSU. She believes that it’s never
too late in life to start a new adventure, including art school. She divides her time between Bozeman and Marina del Rey, California. She and her husband, Pete, have three grown children.
This exhibit was curated by the incontrovertibly fabulous Amy Brakeman Livezey.
