Montana’s fiddler extraordinaire, Natalie Padilla, teams up with Ben Winship and John Lowell for a unique evening of original music. From John’s award-winning Western ballads and Ben’s witty songs to Natalie’s acclaimed fiddle tune writing, you’re in for an evening of feel good folk music.

Natalie’s new album, Montana Wildflower, is out on Bandcamp! Check out her track, “Balsomroot,” below.

Born into a family of acclaimed roots musicians, Natalie was immersed in music at a very young age. She studies, teaches, records and performs within the traditions of Old-Time, Celtic, Texas and Bluegrass Fiddle music, as well as classical violin.

Known widely as the Growling Old Men, Winship (mandolin, vocals) and Lowell (guitar, vocals) have been performing and recording the acoustic tunes of the Northern Rockies since 1998. Together they present a right, relaxed set of original and traditional bluegrass songs, ballads, and tunes – informed equally by the music of the Appalachian hills and the Western plains.

“Not so old, not so growly… They’re great!” – Garrison Keillor, A Prairie Home Companion
