Welcome, Big Sky Pride!
We invited 16 LGBTQ artists from different backgrounds and ethnicities, with a range of gender and ages, to reveal the raw nature of finding identity and passion in life. This exhibit is an exciting reveal of the expressive power of Montana’s LGBTQ+ community.
I encourage you to embrace not only the artistic creations from 16 queer artists but also take in the ‘notes of pride’ that surround their art. Pride month is a time to uplift the LGBTQ voices, and it’s my hope these small messages, along with the art, do just that.
One’s sexuality or identity does not directly influence one’s art … or does it? Maybe the influence lies in the human evolution of discovering one’s sexuality & identity? Or more likely, maybe the creation of art has an influence on accepting one’s true self.
Come spend some time with these works, and support these artists! All works are for sale.
