100 Days of Outreach!

Our Arts Education season is wrapping up, just as we sail past the 100th activity mark! Workshops, residencies, and community pop-up events kept our visiting and local teaching artists engaged with students from all over Helena and East Helena, from Shodair Hospital to Capital High School to Rossiter Elementary School and beyond. This year’s activities included breakdancing, mask work, ukulele intensives and experimental percussion, to name a few. We are so grateful for our school and community partners and can’t wait to work with you again soon!

The Myrna Loy’s 2018-2019 Arts Education Season:

• 6,000+ students, artists, teachers and community members participated in The Myrna Loy’s Education and Outreach events during the 2018-2019 season.

• 1,200+ students and community members were active participants in The Myrna Loy’s workshops and residencies.

• 3,507 Helena area students experienced live performance as part of The Myrna Loy’s programming.

• 1900 Low income students experienced workshops and/or live performance.
