We care about each other, about you, and about our artists. Here’s how we’re preparing for the Covid-19 coronavirus as it approaches us:
Myrna’s Night Out has been postponed. We will reschedule at a time when we know we can host the most fun party of the year, without excluding anyone.
Dervish has been cancelled. The band is unable to make the trip to Helena. We’re working hard to figure out a way to get them back here in the future. If you have tickets and would like to exchange them for either a refund or gift certificate please email [email protected] with the subject line DERVISH and we will instruct you how to proceed.
At The Myrna Loy, we are super-scrubbing everything. Surfaces, knobs, handles, armrests, faucets, railings – anything the public touches in The Myrna Loy is getting extra bleach-cleaned regularly.
At the movies, we’ve got lots of room (and sanitized seats) so you can sit far apart and do that social-distance thing.
The more we can do to slow the spread, the better it will be for all of us. You are part of that effort: Clean hands, elbow-bumps, keep our distance, ask questions. Stay home if you are exposed or at risk. Put compassion first, and fears in our pockets.
We’re planning ahead. We’re following up daily, with state health officials and with our compatriot presenters. We’ll keep you posted.
Meanwhile, let’s all remember this is an opportunity to shift our focus from the worries of the world, and think about how we can better take care of each other. And that’s not such a bad thing.
