Billings-based Gilda House is a band for our time: a vibey synth-pop party to capture us in a groove, plus a cinematic sound design (and who hasn’t been watching more movies than usual?) – with a side dish of contemplative lyricism for depth.
Gilda House stopped by The Myrna Loy in June to film this performance, with interview by Helena musician John Dendy. Check out her thoughtful, edgy lyrics. Or just take a ride on her full-throated vocals laid down over waves and waves of molten Euro house synths.
Whether you dig deep or ride high, Gilda House is a band to hear.
Leader Meg Gildehaus, originally of Red Lodge, performed with the uber-popular Arterial Drive dance band that regularly cleaned up on the Magic City’s annual music awards. But she’s been fronting her own trio for a few years now, and released a new single, “Give me Some,” on Spotify in October.
