Great Divide Ski Team is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has been serving the Helena community for more than 40 years with a mission to make skiing fun, accessible, and community-centered. We offer opportunities for skiers of all ages and abilities through our All Mountain, Freeride, Development, Race, and growing Nordic programs. We take pride in keeping skiing affordable and providing scholarships and equipment assistance so that cost does not prevent young people from participating. More than teaching a sport, we are focused on building confidence, friendships, community, and lifelong passion for skiing. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Helena community and are continually working to strengthen connections with ski communities across Montana. This film is an opportunity to share our story, celebrate the people who make our team special, and bring the excitement of skiing to an even broader community.

Whether tracking Hoji, Chris Rubens, and Mark Abma across the iconic Swiss Alps or capturing breakout skier Lucy Leishman storming through Japan’s deep powder with three legendary freeskiers, the verdict is simple: the soul of skiing isn’t dead; it’s alive and well wherever the snow is falling.
