Join Girls Thrive for a night of inspiration, awe, and adventure, as they present a screening of the documentary No Man’s Land Kids Program (https://nomanslandfilmfestival.org/about)! Girls Thrive is a local, Helena-based nonprofit that is on a mission to inspire girls, in grades 4-12, to empower themselves through a variety of physical activities and educational lessons designed to promote self-confidence, self-esteem, and positive body image.

This event is intended as both an end of the fiscal year fundraiser and an educational event, drawing attention to some of the barriers that girls and women face in sports, while also highlighting the importance of sports in the lives of girls and women. This film festival brings unique voices to our community to highlight girls and women in the outdoors. These films serve as a backdrop to the larger conversation of barriers facing girls and women in sports. A part of our mission at Girls Thrive is to reduce these barriers for girls in our community.

No Man’s Land Film Festival (NMLFF) is founded & run by women, who are working to become an international voice for the underrepresented global majority.

From NMLFF: We are at the forefront of a movement, and we ask that you join us in empowering the present and future generations of women to elevate themselves from supporting roles and lead us into the wild and radical unknown. Grit. Audacity. Determination. Boundless Passion. For almost a decade, we have embodied, fully realized, and upheld these characteristics with integrity and championed athletes, storytellers, and creatives who are action-oriented and wish to support a shared vision of gender equality — and above all, love adventure.

We are ready. Are you? Girls Thrive!
