Third episode of The Myrna Soundstage!
The Myrna Soundstage is an exciting new video series of fresh performances recorded live on The Myrna Loy’s stage, along with artist interviews by local musician John Dendy.
This episode features Tom Catmull’s Last Resort Band, along with solos by mellow, folky new tunes by the unrepeatable Travis Yost. With fun, entertaining interviews by host John Dendy.
Tom Catmull’s Last Resort is an exercise in musical evolution. Tom’s sound is amplified, elevated and occasionally made more sinister by the creative musical syndicate of Jaime Rogers, Travis Yost and Jesse Netzloff. Ever popular across Montana, this band has continued to round a stylistic corner, trading in its previously roots-inspired inclinations for the seductive impulse of a sleeker American pop rock sound.
Also featured in this episode is Travis Yost, who makes dreamy pop-rock songs out of an acoustic guitar, a bluebird voice, and an ability to wring every last bit of meaning out of every word.
Each monthly episode, featuring two artists, will last about 45 minutes and will be screened before an audience at The Myrna Loy while it is simultaneously streamed online. All episodes available for streaming thereafter.
You can’t keep good musicians down.
