The phenomenal singer and educator, Alicia Olatuja, spent last Thursday afternoon with Molly Steele’s Ambiance choir class at Helena High School. After her workshop, Alicia chatted with four students for over 25 minutes, answering questions about her own life and artistry, and encouraging them to take risks and pursue excellence in whatever they do. “I can tell you that everything good in life lies just on the other side of fear,” she assured them.
Molly Steele recalls of the conversation, “She encouraged them to step outside their comfort zone… She also emphasized that they will find success if they continue to push themselves and not give up. It was very inspiring for these young women to hear this from a person they look up to. They left the workshop feeling motivated to work hard.”
