The Myrna Loy works with local artists to offer longer term arts residencies in Helena area classrooms. Past residencies have used dance, theatre, storytelling, and puppetry to build student skills in self expression, collaboration, confidence, creativity, problem solving, focus, and listening. Residencies are generally scheduled for 3-5 visits over the course of a two week period to give students a deeper experience in the art form. Our artists and Education Coordinator will work with the classroom teacher to develop a curriculum that best fits the needs of the students.
